About
This work is a vocation for me. I care deeply about what I do and the people who trust me to be part of their lives.
I see therapy as both a science and a creative process. There is no single “right” way to understand ourselves, and I approach your experiences with curiosity.
I work in the NHS and privately, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, alongside Internal Family Systems Read more. What matters to me is connecting insight with meaningful emotional change.
I bring warmth and genuineness, and value the relationship we build. You are the expert in your own experience; I bring clinical knowledge and curiosity to explore what helps, looking beyond symptoms to what underlies your challenges. I believe that beneath distress is a core Self with the capacity for compassion, clarity and connection. With time and understanding of your inner system, this Self can begin to lead with greater confidence and care.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Your differences deserve understanding, with space to explore what you want to accept, support or change.
Being neurodivergent myself, I bring lived experience while recognising that each person’s experience is their own. I have a particular interest in neurodivergence and trauma, including significant events and cumulative or relational experiences that shape how safe, understood or accepted you feel. I’m particularly interested in supporting individuals with suspected or diagnosed autism, ADHD and PTSD.
I engage in my own therapy, reflection, clinical supervision and ongoing learning, remaining mindful of how I shape the therapeutic space. I view humility as an essential part of safe clinical practice.
Ultimately, I hope therapy offers space to feel more fully yourself: to understand yourself, work towards healing and explore what becomes possible when distress takes up less of your life. This may mean reconnecting with who you are, what matters to you and how you want to live.
“I wonder why no one ever told me that the rainbow and the treasure were both within me.”
